AFYT Spatial Queeries Reading Group

AFYT Spatial Queeries Reading Group

Corner New CrossLondon, England
Thursday, Mar 12 from 7 pm to 9 pm
Overview

We are back for our second Spatial Queeries Reading Group. This time exploring Queer Spaces: An Atlas of LGBTQ+ Places and Stories!

Join us for a free reading group and workshop on Queer Spaces: An Atlas of LGBTQ+ Places and Stories by Adam Nathaniel Furman and Joshua Mardell.

Our first reading group discussing Queer Phenomenology by Sara Ahmed with Ulrike Steven explored the notion of art and architecture, deviation from architecture, disruption and repair and heteronormative structures influencing our cities. Our second reading group will transition from queer theory to the physical exploration of queer spaces.

Whether you have read the book or not, join us for a workshop exploring and sharing queer perspectives through spaces.
