After the First Draft - Revision
Sundays 4/23-6/4 (except Mother's Day 5/14) 10am-12pm
Join accomplished mystery and romance writer Jenna Harte as she shares her knowledge and experience of revising your first draft.
A first draft isn’t a completed book. Even before hiring an editor, or sending the book to beta readers, writers should go through their manuscripts to improve both the story and the writing.
Writers will leave the workshop with a checklist and tips on how to quickly and easily use word-processing tools in their revision, as well as how to beef up the quality of their writing. The course is ideal for authors who want to traditionally or self-publish their books.
In each session, the author will bring a copy of their work (digital or paper) and be given a chance to practice concepts and tasks taught during the workshop.
