Bobbi (Bob’beyonce) Ponder is a performer and choreographer from Chicago, Il. She began her training in ballet, tap, and jazz 22 years ago. Bobbi has trained under internationally recognized teachers and choreographers including Homer Bryant of Chicago Multi-cultural Dance Center, Lisa Johnson-Willingham of Alvin Ailey, and Pierre Locket from the Joffrey Ballet. In 2013 Bobbi shifted her dance focus from classical dance styles to dances of the Black diaspora, including Hip Hop, Afro-fusion, and Jamaican Dancehall. Her professional dance career began on Boom Crack! Dance Company and Fiyah Fit Inc. in Chicago, Il. She has danced for recording artists ranging from Tems to Wyclef Jean. She has traveled to 30 countries, exploring dance and culture which has greatly influenced her movement. Her versatility allows her to experiment with fusing a variety of styles. She continues to expand her dance repertoire in every city she travels to, and loves to share her style and knowledge to those who are hungry to learn.

Jujubux is a dynamic dancer with over a decade of experience in a variety of African dance styles, including Ndombolo, Coupe Decale, Azonto, and more. With a passion for African Street dances, movement, and African culture, Jujubux has had the privilege of sharing and performing on prestigious stages alongside some of the biggest names in African music, such as Burna Boy, P Square, Mr Eazi, Serge Beynaud, Basketmouth, D’Banj, Kaysha and many others.

Known for their electrifying stage presence and exceptional ability to fuse traditional and contemporary African dance forms, Jujubux brings a unique energy and authenticity to every performance. Whether performing solo or collaborating with other artists, their commitment to showcasing African music and dance traditions remains at the heart of their craft. As a leading figure in the dance community, Jujubux continues to inspire and engage audiences worldwide through their exceptional talent and love for the culture.
