Tasveer is a non-profit South Asian film and artsorganization whose mission is to curate thought-provoking events through films, art, and storytelling. We create dialogs that engage and empower the larger community anddispel stereotypes.South Asia covers Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and their diasporas worldwide.

What lengths would you go to in order to ride a bicycle? Following a new generation of young Afghan women cyclists, Afghan Cycles uses bicycles to tell a story of women’s rights - human rights - and the struggles faced by Afghan women on a daily basis, from discrimination to abuse, to the oppressive silencing of their voices in all aspects of contemporary society.
