Overview

Resource fair for our queer and trans family and friends, community craft projects for change, BBQ dinner, and drag performances with music.

Humanists of Idaho is partnering with the American Humanist Association in sponsoring 101 different service projects around the country on May 2nd, 2026. Humanists of Idaho is participating in this project to support, affirm and celebrate, a much abused group of Idahoans, our queer and transgender friends, family and neighbors! This project is a response to the current administration's crisis of cruelty.

Idahoans have suffered through a legislative session that was truly horrific. And this is not who we are Idaho! Compassion must win over cruelty! Science and logic has to win over ignorance. But we have to put it into action!

What is this event going to look like?
3-5 pm Resource Center - We will be providing resources to trans/queer folks in town offering information and material support of clothing and other supplies needed to live an affirmed life.
4-7 pm - FUN and THE ARTS WITH BBQ Dinner.
Group Craft Project for Change - We will engage as a group in some craft project that will inspire the change we want to see in Idaho.
There will also be music, dance and drag performances to celebrate and affirm a happy life for all Idahoans.
