It’s that time of year people! Time to get ready for this weekend’s air show! How many times have you attended an air show and not come away with the images that you like? Come and join a very informative and educational session with Marc Farb as he shares with you his experiences and images about something he’s quite passionate about. He’ll talk about and show you how to create images on the ground and in the air. But most importantly he’ll also show you images and talked to you about when the planes are not flying. While the air show presents amazing opportunity to photograph the planes in the air, there is tremendous opportunity to create other images while they are on the ground. Most air shows have static displays where you get to meet the pilots see the planes and even get to see people who are dressed in time period correct costumes called reenactors. you have the ability to not only shoot action with the planes in the air, but there are opportunities for macro or close-up photography, portraits or even environmental portraits. You can take a complete look at an air show from a photojournalistic view.

For Marc, photography is more than just a job, or a way to earn a steady income, it’s a way of life. Even more, it’s the chance to capture special moments in time and show them off to the world in a way they may never get to see them. It’s his job to preserve a moment in time and evoke a reaction from people who view his images.

He is proficient in Photoshop and Lightroom on a PC and Mac. His experiences over the years have allowed him to teach classes all around the US and Canada on photographic topics that range from pixel to print, and all points between.
