One of the phrases we often hear is “I’ve thought about trying aerial but I’m not ______ enough.” If you’re someone who has said you’re not small enough, strong enough, young enough, or whatever enough: we want you to know that isn’t true!

You are enough exactly as you are, and we designed this new workshop with you in mind! Aerial for Every Body is your chance to come see what this aerial thing is all about in a safe, low pressure, welcoming environment. In this 90-min workshop you will:

Learn about the equipment and why it’s safe for a beginner of ANY weight or size

Have an experienced instructor/spotter for the entire workshop, to ensure all participants are safe and supported

Have a chance to explore our aerial silks and slings, and learn the difference between the two

Try out some fun and safe beginner aerial skills

Be able to photograph yourself doing some really cool stuff

Get a little taste of what makes the aerial community so great – we’re always cheering for one another!

Unless otherwise noted, all Coil classes are age 14+.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Tracey is a Personal Trainer with a strong background in Health at Every Size and a focus on injury prevention. She teaches Strength and Conditioning, which is designed to help new and experienced aerialists focus on proper form and avoid overuse injuries. Tracey loves to share the aerial experience with newcomers, and especially enjoys helping people get from “I don’t think I can…” to “OMG, I did!”

Coil is a collaboration of yoga, dance, aerial, and movement instructors seeking to create and hold space for performers and yoga practitioners of all paths. Coil offers beginner level, intermediate, and advanced flow style yoga classes, levels 1 and 2 in American Tribal Style® Belly Dance and Tribal Fusion Belly Dance, and beginner and intermediate level classes in Aerial Silk Acrobatics.
