AEE MVC Site Tour: District Energy Innovation at leləm̓ Village
Join AEE Metro Vancouver Chapter for an exclusive guided tour of leləm̓ Village — a visionary 21.44-acre master-planned community developed by Musqueam Capital Corporation, located on the western edge of Vancouver next to the old-growth forests of Pacific Spirit Park.
At the heart of leləm̓’s sustainability efforts is the SHARC Wastewater Energy Transfer (WET) system, installed in 2022. This cutting-edge technology transforms wastewater — traditionally a wasted resource — into clean, renewable energy for heating, cooling, and domestic hot water. The SHARC WET system serves as the backbone of leləm̓’s district energy loop, delivering long-term environmental and economic benefits to all 20 buildings in the community.

🅿️ Parking: Free underground parking for 2 hours. Please register your license plate at the parking machine. Also consider using public transportation direction UBC.
🚪 Access: The system is accessed via the parking garage beneath UrbanFare and the adjacent restaurant (pictured on the event page). If arriving from above ground, use the elevator next to UrbanFare to reach the garage.
