AEC Tech 2018: Interpolations

CORE studio is Thornton Tomasetti’s virtual incubator of ideas. Its name derives from the union of computational modeling and research and development, which are at the core of our firm’s mission. Our team is a diverse assortment of specialists, with each member bringing expert knowledge and an inquisitive mind to projects of every size and scope. <H3>Join CORE studio at Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. for AEC Tech 2018: Interpolations!</H3>
AEC Tech 2018 is the sixth annual event and a four-day experience for professionals in the AEC industry and more! We are proud to present the 2018 theme, Interpolations, focusing on the injection of innovative processes, technologies, and workflows that are rerouting the way the industry works, designs, and thinks.
Workshops and masterclasses are held all-day on Thursday, October 25th from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. 
The Symposium will take place on Friday, October 26th at 9:00 am featuring a full-day of presentations and discussions from highly-acclaimed professionals within and adjacent to the industry.
The Hackathon will last 26-hours from Saturday, October 27th to Sunday, October 28th at the Thornton Tomasetti midtown office. AEC Tech’s Hackathon is an event for all levels of programmers, developers, engineers and others, additionally, it is aimed for attendees to collaborate, network, build new relationships, and generate new ideas and processes for the AEC community.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Both Baruch College and Thornton Tomasetti can be accessed via the 6 train at the 23rd St. stop.
 
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

What's the refund policy?
Full refunds are issued up to 7 days before the event date. Refunds will not be issued past this period.
 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
There will be a check-in list, but bring your printed ticket for speedier registration.
 
Can I buy tickets at the door?
No. Ticket sales are online only and close 30 minutes after an event has started.
 
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes. As long as you reference the individual who purchased your ticket.
 
Do you have student discount rates?
Yes. Contact aecconference@thorntontomasetti.com from your Edu account to receive it. Student discounts are available starting July 7 at midnight.
 
Do I need to pay extra for the Reception?
No. All tickets for the Symposium include the cost of the Reception.
 
What are my hotel options?
Thornton Tomasetti has discounted rooms at the following hotels. To receive the discounted rate, call and mention you're visiting Thornton Tomasetti.
