Learning Summary: This training will provide an overview of block play in the classrooms. The class will show what is an appropriate age in the block area and explain why block play is so important for child development.


Learning Outcomes:

1 . Learners will identify why block play is so important for children.

2 . Learners will understand the differences of block use for each age group.

3 . Learners will create an appropriate block play area.


Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three-question quiz or test at the end of each training.
