Advancing Gender Equal Media

This workshop discusses the challenges which remain in advancing gender equality in the media and will include contributions from a range of speakers from EU institutions, women-focused NGOs and media professionals.  It will also consider some of the positive strategies which are being developed to respond to these long-standing issues, including the launch of a new, EU-funded project and web platform, Advancing Gender Equality in Media Industries (AGEMI).
