Welcome to the Advanced Training in Toxicological Risk Assessment for Medical Devices!

This course is designed to provide toxicologists and biocompatibility professionals with the tools they need to prepare a toxicological risk assessment of compounds released from medical devices. Join us on 29-30 May, 2024 at the Sune Meeting Room, Inspira Buidling, Medicon Village in Lund, Sweden for two full days of in-person instruction, followed by 24 hours of directed learning that can be completed at a time and location of your convenience.

In this course, you will have the opportunity to learn advanced toxicological risk assessment techniques specific to medical devices. The course will cover topics such as chemical characterization, derivation of TI values, and interpretation of MoS values and will cover all of the new approaches described in the newly published ISO 10993-17:2023 standard.
