The Advanced MRI Safety Seminar is a three-day focused training course geared for everyone with roles in MRI patient care and safety, including technologists, tech aides, radiologists, medical physicists, and radiology administration. The course covers material that is relevant to the roles of MRMD, MRSO, and MRSE, as well as information for anyone and everyone who wants to increase both the efficiency and safety of MRI services.


Seminar tickets are $1,300 for radiologists / physicians, and $650 for non-physicians (MRI technologists, physicists, radiology administrators, etc…), for all three days (you will select your ticket type on the next page). Each day the seminar will begin at 8:30 am, and will end at 6:00 pm.


The course is delivered by Tobias Gilk, MRSO (MRSC™), MRSE (MRSC™). Prof. Gilk has been sharing his knowledge on MRI safety for decades, and is one of the recognized leaders in the field of MRI safety. He is a twice former member of the ACR’s MRI Safety Committee, and a named author of three of the Committee’s works, including the 2020 ACR Manual on MR Safety. He is a founding Board member of the ABMRS, and a past-Chair of that organization. He has been a member of SMRT and ISMRM, and is a member of the IEC’s MRI safety working group, and volunteers for the ASTM International’s committee on MRI Conditional testing and labeling.


The program includes lunches and snacks / beverages during the program. CE credit is pending approval.
