An advanced training on motivational interviewing for evidence-based program providers.

Description: Working from an Evidence-Based Practice perspective, this multi-day Motivational Interviewing training will augment and enrich your existing MI knowledge base while building a stronger MI skill set. Participants will learn about the Motivational Interviewing Competency Assessment (MICA) as a structure for MI conversations and have multiple opportunities to apply MI with volunteer clients. The conversations will be recorded, coded with the MICA, then debriefed with coaching feedback to improve Motivational Interviewing skills.
