This training is designed to provide basic understanding + foundations for microneedling + dermaplane treatments.
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy (CIT), is in high demand because results are noticeable + downtime is minimal. This anti-aging service can also be used in conjunction with Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) for exceptional results.
Dermaplaning offers deep exfoliation removing dead skin cells from the upper layer of the surface of the skin using a surgical scalpel. This gentle ‘shaving’ of the skin surface can also remove fine vellus hair (fuzz) from the face giving a renewed + glowing appearance to the skin.
After completing the course, you will receive your certification for Microneedling + Dermaplane treatment administration with proficiencies in the following areas:
- History of microneedling + dermaplane devices + equipment
- Treatment guidelines, patient selection, indications + contraindications
- Safety, sanitation + proper treatment protocols
- Patient assessment, pre + post treatment care
