In this advanced class, you will elevate your dot mandala skills to new heights, building upon the foundation laid in the Basic Dot Mandala class. You'll delve into a world of intricate designs, exploring advanced dotting techniques that add depth, detail, and dimension to your artwork. Throughout the session, you'll experiment with a variety of tools and materials, including mirrors, fine line brushes, gemstones, stencils, plaster, resin, black light, and glow-in-the-dark elements. You'll learn to troubleshoot common issues, master advanced dotting tools, and create gradients and shading with dots. You'll also explore the use of negative space, layering dots for maximum impact, and the principles of color theory in dot mandala art. By the end of the class, you'll have refined your dot mandala skills and created a more complex and detailed dot mandala design. You'll be equipped to continue exploring advanced dot mandala art on your own or to sign up for complementary classes in the future.
Age / Skill Level:
This class is appropriate for teens (15-19) and adults (20 and up) of an intermidiate skill level. It is recommended that absolute beginners register for the Dot Mandala Fundementals workshop scheduled on Thursday April 25th.
