Advanced Certified ScrumMaster®
The Advanced Certified ScrumMaster™ (A-CSM™) course is part of the Scrum Alliances Path to Certified Scrum Professional®.  The A-CSM® is an in-depth two-day immersion into the world of the ScrumMaster role. 
The two-day workshop is full of interactive exercises, practical real-life examples, and lively discussion and will equip you with the knowledge required to move past understanding Scrum just as process.  It will help you focus on using Scrum to address the issues that arise in your Agile environment. 
The class explores Agile Facilitation and Agile Coaching and how the ScrumMaster uses these skills to support the team, the Product Owner and the Organization.

All Advanced CSM courses are taught by Educators approved by the Scrum Alliance. Taking an Advanced CSM course, meeting the 7 learning objectives, and accepting the license agreement designates you as an Advanced Certified ScrumMaster. Please review your trainer's course description below to determine which learning objectives this course satisfies.

<li>Anyone is welcome to take this course, however to receive your Advanced Certified ScrumMaster™ (A-CSM™) you need to:</li>
<li>Have a current Certified ScrumMaster™ Certification (CSM™)</li>
<li>Complete the 2 day Advanced Certified ScrumMaster™ (A-CSM)</li>
<li>Have at least 12 months of experience within the last 5 years, that you demonstrate by updating the experience on your Scrum Alliance Profile</li>

1.     To explain Agile and Lean Values and Principles, so that I can better appreciate Scrum2.     To understand Agile Facilitation, so that I can better support my team3.     To understand Agile Coaching, so that I can coach my Team, Product Owner and Organization4.     To explore self-organization, so that I can support my Development Team in becoming Self Organized5.     To explore team dynamics, so that I can help my team work together better6.     To explore Definition of Done, so that I facilitate my team creating one7.     To understand the Value of Engineering Practices, so that I coach my team on how to incorporate them8.     To understand Service to the Product Owner, so that I can effectively support my Product Owner9.     To explore resolving impediments, so that I can effectively support my team10.  To understand Scaling Scrum, so that I can understand the pros and cons of scaling11.  To explore Organizational Change, so that I can effectively support my organization12.  To explore Scrum Mastery, so that I can expand my personal ScrumMaster skills
CANCELLATION POLICY:
In order to receive a refund you must notify us no later than 10 business days prior to the class start date. No-shows or same day cancellations are non-refundable.

Certification:
<ul>
<li>To participate in the ACSM event, you must already hold the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) credential with the Scrum Alliance.</li>
<li>To qualify for the ACSM designation, you must attend this event, and also demonstrate 12 months of collective experience using agile methods.</li>
</ul>
Pre-course preparation:
<ul>
<li>Pre-course preparation is required to gain the most from the program. This will include reading materials and a personal review of your own experience using Scrum.</li>
<li>Clear your schedule to be fully present during the training hours; if a participant misses more than 30 minutes of the class, they will not be eligible to be certified. Should your schedule prevent you from attending the entire class, our team will work with you to schedule another class on a different date.</li>
</ul>
Exam information:
<ul>
<li>Taking an Advanced CSM course, meeting the 7 learning objectives, and accepting the license agreement designates you as an Advanced Certified ScrumMaster. There is no exam.</li>
<li>The Certified Scrum Trainer, leading your class, will register your attendance with the Scrum Alliance, after which you will receive an email from them with your certification.</li>

Instructor Bio
Anu is the President and Founder of Capala Consulting Group, LLC where she specializes in Executive coaching and Agile Transformations. She is also an Enterprise Agile Coach and Certified Scrum Trainer® - providing education and coaching, consulting services to clients across the United States. An IT professional with over 25 years of industry experience, Anu holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Osmania University in India and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, Ohio.
 Anu has extensive experience with large scale agile transformations, integral to the success of the likes of Capital One through her training and coaching expertise. She has specialized in leadership coaching and large group facilitation. Anu has established internal agile coaching Centers of Excellence for several clients to allow self-sustained coaching of their agile transformations. She has developed a coaching program specifically designed for evolving organizational leaders. Anu speaks frequently at conferences both nationally and internationally on Product Ownership and Group Facilitation Techniques.
 Anu is passionate about coaching and training others, dedicated to helping to achieve professional and personal success. She is also committed to improving the agile community through several activities. She is an active member of the larger Scrum and Agile community and enjoys giving back via volunteering at various conferences. She is also a Program Advisor to the Scrum Alliance Events group as they plan, organize and coordinate various conferences, retreats and meetups around the world.
