This is an Advanced Cannabis Training Course that is intended to provide additional education for those who will enjoy the deep dive into this topic. The class will focus on the biology of the cannabis plant and the biology of the human body.This 3-hour class will focus only on the Cannabis Plant and should be taken after the Cannabis Basic Training or Dispensary Agent Training for a deeper understanding of how and why Cannabis works in the human body.Many of our former students, who currently work in the health care industry, like nurses, physical therapists, chiropractors and massage therapists have asked us for more information on cannabis; why it works and how it works. We’ll dive into plant-based diets and plant-based medications to explore how they intersect more often than not.We will discuss how Cannabis is the perfect plant in that it can help the body fuel, rest and medicate. We will discuss the discovery of the endo-cannabinoid system, CBD and THC in the sixties and how those discoveries continue to warrant additional studies going on world-wide, today This Advanced class will go beyond the summaries we discuss in our entry level classes and go into the studies that have been reported for a more formal discussion on the chemical make-up of the plant, cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. We will study the entourage effects of those three things and how these unique combinations can contribute to each strains’ medical characteristics.Several states are recommending or requiring their Dispensing Agents and Employees to have from eight to sixteen hours of annual Training. This three-hour class can account for three hours of that requirement.HempStaff has been training nationwide for over 6 years. Since 2014, we have certified over 8,900 students.
