Advanced Beginner Line Dancing - 4 classes

These classes are intended for dancers who have some experience with line dancing and are comfortable with the basics. No partner needed!

Pre-registration is required for this event. Cost is $35 for all four sessions.

This Advanced Beginner class is intended for dancers who have some experience with line dancing and are comfortable with the basics.

The Advanced Beginner class includes basic step patterns and simple combinations, while gradually introducing more complex steps and sequences. This four-week class meets once a week on Wednesday evenings and is ideal for participants who are ready to build on foundational skills and advance their confidence and technique. No partner is required. Bring a water bottle, a dry pair of shoes to change into, and be ready to keep moving. The class is led by Karen Ann Stark, an experienced instructor and former choreographer of the Bootscooters Dance Team.

The Absolute Beginner class meets from 5:30–6:30 p.m., followed by the Advanced Beginner class from 6:45–7:45 p.m., on Wednesdays: February 18, February 25, March 4, and March 11. In the event of a weather cancellation, a backup date will likely be scheduled for March 18.

Participants are welcome to register for both classes back-to-back for two hours of line dancing, as different dances will be taught in each class.

This registration fee of $35 includes all four classes in the Advanced Beginner session. We are unable to prorate for missed classes. Youth under the age of 16 must have an adult registered in the class to accompany them.
