Welcome to the Garner Holt Animaker Space at the Fontana Lewis Library and Technology Center! Our programs are designed to give participants the knowledge and "how-to" for many computer programs and machinery that learners of all ages are interested in.
During the summer session, participants will be able to learn the basics of audio engineering and Animatronics programming.
We please ask those who are registering for programs to follow the age guides for each class. These age guides are:
Tuesday and Thursday program is intended for ages 8-12
Wednesday program is intended for teens ages 13-17
Saturday program is intended for adults ages 18+
Each program in this session will be 2 hours long with a 10 minute break during the program. Instruction time will include an introduction to the software being used, a demonstration of the day’s project, and time for each participant to work with the computer and animatronic.
Parents do not need to register themselves for children's classes. Registration is required for the actual class participants within the designated age range. Registration in this session is limited!
Late arrivals will be accommodated until 15 minutes after the start of program. Walk-in participants will not be accommodated in this session.
We currently do not have Animaker Space classes for children under 8 years old. Please visit the branch to enjoy our special Summer Reading Program activities that are fun for the whole family!

Frequently asked questions
No, each participant will come to one class per week in this session. If it is possible, the same day of the week is preferred due to this session being group work.
Space is limited in this session. There will be no walk-in accommodation during this session.
Parents may stay with their children in the Animaker Space or remain in the library until the end of program. For safety purposes, parent/guardian will need to provide their name and contact information.
No, more Animatronics programs will be available later in the summer and into the fall!
You may order multiple tickets in one order. A ticket is required for each participant. Parents do not require a ticket.
