Adults: Intermediate Sewing

This class is designed for adults who want to expand on their existing sewing skills and start tackling those tricky projects with guidance from our teachers.

Content We Can Cover:

• Sewing complete garments and projects
• Basic pattern drafting and draping
• Technical skills and stitches
• Different machine stiches and feet applications
• Following commercial patterns
• Varied zippers, hems, invisible mending and sneaky pockets
• Project design and planning

Skill Level:

This is an intermediate level class, for sewists who:

• Know their way around a sewing machine and can troubleshoot common issues
• Have some experience following sewing patterns
• Can sew simple projects independently

Age: 16+

Please wear closed in shoes and bring a water bottle and/or refreshments.
