About this event

Welcome to the Adult Track Meet - the perfect kick-off to Summer 2024!

Are you a former athlete that wants to find out if you still got it? Or a seasoned runner, jumper, or thrower looking for a fun chance to get back out there and compete? No matter which category you fall in, lace up your running shoes and get ready to sprint, jump, and throw your way to victory.

This event is open to all adults age 21+ and presents the perfect opportunity to showcase your athletic abilities and compete against other current and former track enthusiasts. Participate in as many events as you'd like - medals will be awarded for first place winners, and 2nd and 3rd place finishers will receive ribbons. And, all teams with 10 or more members will have a chance to compete for a team trophy and bragging rights!

Here’s what you need to know:

Registration - PLEASE READ EACH POINT VERY CAREFULLY:

  • You will select the events you want to participate in when you register.
  • If you are a part of a team of more than 10 people, your team MUST have a team name which will be required to be entered at registration. (If you don’t enter a team name, or if you enter a name that does not have any other team members listed, you will not be counted as part of a team.) You ARE allowed to participate without being a part of a team - you will be considered unattached.
  • There must be at least 10 people registered under the same name to be considered a team and able to compete for the team trophy.
  • You must know the names of all four (4) members of any RELAY TEAM you are a part of and are required to enter their names during registration. This will help us with organization. Any teams that do not have all four of the same members listed on registration will NOT be allowed to participate, so have your relay teams set in stone and ready to go before registering.
  • All four members of your relay team members must be registered in order to participate.
  • You will not be able to edit your registration responses once submitted. If you need to make changes, email Aaliyah McKinney at admckinney23@gmail.com. We cannot guarantee that any changes will be made after the registration period closes.
  • All required questions must be completed before you can register.
  • You are required to sign a waiver/liability release form and provide an emergency contact.

  • Opening high jump heights: Women = 4'2", Men = 4'8"
  • Co-ed 4x1 relays MUST consist of two females and two males; there cannot be 3:1. The relay can be run in any order.
  • The 4 members on big man relays can be any combination of men and women.
  • There are no specific uniform requirements; however, you must be in athletic clothing, i.e. spandex, shorts, t-shirts, athletic tank tops, running shoes, spikes, etc. In other words, DO NOT show up to participate in jeans, dress clothes, non-athletic shoes, etc. You will not be allowed to participate.
  • Field event equipment will be provided. You/your team must bring your own baton for relays.
  • Please bring your own water, gatorade, snacks, etc. as we will only provide these items to volunteers.
  • Children are allowed to attend but not allowed to participate as this is an ADULT meet. Please keep them off the field at all times.
  • Individual event awards will be given based on age groups; however, depending on how many people register for an event, you may be required to compete against other athletes who are not within your age group. You will still be awarded based on your age group. (See FAQ page for further info)
  • Relays are NOT divided into age groups and are NOT awarded based on age. Relays can consist of members of any age. Each team will compete against all other teams, no matter the age of team members. Ultimately, the relays with the top 3 fastest times earn awards.

Volunteers:

  • Please arrive no later than 9:15am for final instructions.
  • Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Join us for a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and fun in the sun. Proceeds from the meet will be donated to the John Adams track & field programs.
