About this event

  • 3 hours

Join Kate of Kate Rush Art at The Kennel at West York Inn on Sunday June 9th to explore how art and music influence one another by creating a 16x20 original intuitive painting.

Synesthsia is a fascinating neurological condition which affects many artists. As far as music is concerned, many who have synesthsia see color when they hear music. In this workshop we will explore how music affects us by listening to various styles of music and choosing paint colors, brushes and various textures based on how the music makes us feel.

Artists are encouraged to wear clothes they are comfortable in and do not mind getting paint on.
