Adult Mental Health First Aid Training

Welcome to our online Adult Mental Health First Aid Training event! This training is designed to help you learn how to provide initial support to someone who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or challenge. Join us for this informative and interactive session to gain valuable skills and knowledge that can make a difference in someone's life. Sign up now to secure your spot!

Adult Mental Health First Aid consists of 2-hours of self-paced content followed by 5.5 hours of instructor-led training.

This course will provide you with 7.5 CEU credit hours and the certification is good for 3 years.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get registered for the course?

Your instructor (Shalisa Clifton) will provide virtual copies of the materials needed for the course.

How will the content be delivered?

This class will be completely virtual and will be held using the zoom platform. Your instructor (Shalisa Clifton) will send out reminder emails with zoom link attached the closer the training date gets.

How will I receive my cerificate

Once the training is over your trainer (Shalisa Clifton) will update attendance in connect. This will allow you to finish the rest of the modules that include a post quiz to access your certificate. Your trainer will also send copies to each individual who completed the training.

Will I need to have my camera on the entire training?

We do ask that you have camera on for the duration of the session so that we are able see any reactions or expression of concern. You do not have to have your camera on the entire time as we know things do happen and you will need to move around.
