Learn how to paint with acrylic! This 6-week beginner class offers the basics: how an artist sees, tools, materials, paint application, color mixing, composition, and painting techniques. We will paint still life while having fun in a relaxed atmosphere. All paint supplies and materials are included. If you've taken a session with Donna before, the projects will be different.
Wednesdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm
6 weeks: 5/22, 5/29, 6/5, 6/12, 6/19, 6/26

Ages: 14 and up (for slightly younger artists, please call the DCA)
Cost: $147 per person per session (pre-register/pay in advance).
$8 materials fee to be paid to instructor at the first class.
Registration available online, in person or over the phone. Deadline to register is two days before workshop. If you are redeeming a gift card, please call the office to register.
Fine Print: It is the guardian’s/student’s responsibility to stay home if you are sick. If you have a fever, stay home. If someone in your house is sick, stay home. If you have allergies and can’t control sneezing, and cough please stay home. If you have been exposed or if you show signs of Covid-19, please stay home. If you miss a class, we will work with you on getting the instructions home to students, or possibly have an online option. If class is cancelled by the DCA or Executive Orders, we will refund your remaining classes.
Hand sanitizer is available in all common areas. Please wash hands with soap and water for at least 30 seconds after touching metal surfaces, sneezing, coughing, blowing your nose or using the restroom. In the case of being diagnosed with Covid-19 or show symptoms, immediately notify the DCA by email at dc4arts@downriverarts.org.
