Administration of Medications in Developmental Services Programs - 2 Day Class - He-M 1201 Training Curriculum
This is a 2-day training program held in person at 195 McGregor St, Manchester NH. It's held on consecutive Wednesdays, one week apart, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM each day with full attendance for both days being mandatory for the completion of this course. A written test (1-hour long) will be administered after the completion of the second class.
Completion of both days is required.
The purpose of this training is to provide you with the information you need to:
1. Coordinate and advocate for effective health care,
and
2. Administer medications safely.
The He-M 1201 Administration of Medications in Developmental Services Programs ensures the safe administration of medications by providers to individuals who receive services pursuant to He-M 1001, He-M 507, He-M 518, He-M 521, or He-M 524, as applicable. Providers who request training to be authorized to administer medication shall complete a training program that consists of a minimum of 8 hours of classroom training, exclusive of testing and Nurse trainer competency evaluation. This Medication Administration Curriculum is intended for use as outlined in He-M 1201.05 (a).
