This summer, we're hosting our annual gathering for everyone in our AdkAction Family– including our members, volunteers, partners, funders, and friends– to reconnect with one another and celebrate our shared accomplishments.
We hope you can join us at Paul Smith's VIC on Thursday, August 8th for lawn games, light fare, drinks, and talking about the future of the Adirondacks.
At 3:00 early arrivers can choose between a pollinator talk at the Monarch House; or a guided trail walk with our Project Manager Hannah Grall, who will be sharing highlights from our projects along the route. Both activities will start at 3:15 and will wrap up by 4:00.
At 4:00 the party will be underway– grab a drink and some light fare, and toss a bocce ball or bean bag around with your AdkAction family!
At 5:00 we'll gather for our program remarks and to toast outgoing board chair Steve Maikowski for all his leadership as he passes the torch.
At 6:00 we'll wrap up our evening and say goodbye. . . though maybe we'll run into you at a local ice cream stand later on to keep the party going!
This event is free to our supporters in gratitude to all our AdkAction Family, with a suggested donation for those who are able in honor of Steve Maikowski's nine years of AdkAction leadership. Thank you!
