Walk back through time in the historical central railway station of Adelaide. The impressive central station remains modestly unchanged from 1856.

River Torrens - River Walk


Walk along the River with some of the best views of Adelaide city and of Adelaide Oval. Keep an eye out for some of Adelaide's local wildlife who reside along the riverbanks.

Historical Adelaide University


Walk through one of the worlds finest universities, nestled in between the river, gardens and city centre. Walk through the campus lawns and incredible 19th/20th/21st century architecture.

About this event

Welcome to Walk & Talk Tours Adelaide!

This is the easiest and most fun way to explore Adelaide whilst learning all about the history and inner makings of why this is one of the world's most livable cities.

The tour explores not only some of the historical and modern buildings of the city, but also some of the idealic parkland and nature zones that surround the city of Adelaide. The walk is approximately 2km in total. There will be over a dozen points of interest and ample time for photo opportunities along the route.

Your guide will be Benjamin. Ben is a lifelong Adelaide local who loves the outdoors and has a deep passion for his home town. He is happy to share his knowledge of the city and the lifestyle within Adelaide.

The tour will commence at 9am and finish at 10:00am. From our finishing location we will be able to guide you onto some of Adelaide's top spots, including The Musuem, Art Gallery, Rundle Mall, Victoria Square and Central Markets.

Frequently asked questions

Is the walk suitable for all fitness levels?

The walk is designed with minimal inclines/declines and requires minimal stairs (elevators are usable if required). All ages are welcome, however a moderate fitness level is advisable.

What do I need to bring?

Wear clothes and footwear that are suitable for outdoor walks. The tour is mostly outside so please look up the weather for the day of your booking. You may want to bring sunscreen and your own water bottle in warm weather.

Are toilets available?

There are several public toilet locations available throughout the walk.

Is the tour wheelchair friendly?

The tour is wheelchair friendly, with minimal inclines/declines along the route.

Are my tickets refundable?

Your tickets are fully refundable up to 24hrs before the event. The tickets will be refunded in the circumstance of extreme weather (forecasted thunderstorms or weather in excess of 35 degrees celcius)
