Jessica Bartholow, Chief of Staff for the Office of Senator Nancy Skinner--District 9, will delve into the big picture of food insecurity, and anti-hunger and anti-poverty advocacy.
Erin Rhoades, Executive Director of Berkeley Public Schools Fund, will discuss the impact of hunger on learning. She'll share about the evolving partnership between Berkeley Public Schools Fund and Berkeley Food Network to address food insecurity among Berkeley Unified School District families through community-centered and dignifying approaches.
You’re invited to experience BFN behind the scenes at our monthly Warehouse Open Houses. Every fourth Friday April-October, from 5 PM-7 PM, we will open our doors to the community. Hear from guest speakers and thought leaders, tour the warehouse, enjoy local bites and refreshments, and learn about BFN’s innovative and community-centered approaches to ending hunger in Berkeley and Albany.
