SSRP exhibition: Sussex sustainability research around the world

One World Sussex is run collaboratively by the University of Sussex and the Students’ Union. It is a celebration of the diversity of cultures in our community.Share aspects of your own culture with others, promote cultural understanding and explore global issues as part of One World Sussex.One World Week happens at Sussex in March every year, promoting the aims of One World Sussex through a range of fun events.

The Student Centre Atrium

Researchers and Fellows of the <a href="https://www.sussex.ac.uk/research/centres/sussex-sustainability-research-programme/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sussex Sustainability Research Programme</a> community have been working collaboratively to address our world’s most complex challenges. Helping to tackle sustainability issues for people and planet, whilst advancing the delivery of the <a href="https://sdgs.un.org/goals" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)</a>. Interested in learning more about sustainability research with impact? Spanning <a href="https://www.sussex.ac.uk/research/centres/sussex-sustainability-research-programme/research/people-pollinators-and-pesticides" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">SSRPs five key research themes</a>, the event will showcase past and ongoing projects across the programmes partner schools and hopefully inspire and spark new ideas amongst visitors. This audio-visual exhibition will feature some of their impactful SSRP-funded work and is open to staff, students and anyone interested in sustainability for the entire week of One World Sussex (13-19 March 2023), coinciding with the university&#x27;s <a href="https://www.sussex.ac.uk/about/sustainable-university/news-and-events/news?id=60239" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sustainable Sussex month</a>. beautiful artwork, photography taken during international fieldwork, insightful podcast recordings, short films and SDG animations - there&#x27;ll be plenty to explore! Wander through the new Student Centre Atrium at your own leisure between 13 and 19 March 2023 and enjoy SSRP’s research from around the world. For more detailed discussions keep an eye out for details of our linked sustainability Atrium talks, led by SSRP researchers on topics like ‘Rights of Nature‘ and biodiversity and health. Hosted in the Student Centre Atrium between 13 and 15 March 2023.
