Kyle Mizono’s work-in-progress show, Adaptation Adaptation, is inspired by the 2002 American comedy-drama Adaptation.

Written and Performed by Kyle Mizono (NPR’s This American Life, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, Viceland, FreeForm, and iHeart Radio) and Michelle Mizono

Directed by David Brown

Kyle Mizono is a comedian, actor, writer and a good friend. She’s been featured on NPR’s This American Life, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, Viceland and FreeForm. She also created the Comedy Central digital series called “Girl Kyle”with director and frequent collaborator, Lizzy Born. She co-hosted the iHeart Radio podcast Truth Hounds for two seasons with her best friend, Anna Seregina.

David Brown can't remember exactly when he met Kyle Mizono, but it was probably in 2019 or maybe earlier. He and Kyle have been on several shows together, including one he remembers really fondly where Kyle played the character "Basketball Ghost." David and Kyle are friendly but not that good of friends yet. David's excited to be directing this show to get to know Kyle better!
