About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join us for our inaugural adaptive dance workshop. Hosted at Adapt, a fully accessible venue, we'll be exploring the joy and freedom of movement and dance. Taught by renowned professional dancer Beth Guerrette. Beth is a choreographer, educator, and dancer based in San Diego, with over 25 years of experience in the dance industry. Originally from the East Coast, she also held the position of Research Coordinator in Neurology at Yale University. Currently, Beth teaches a wide range of classes throughout North County, including preschool yoga, creative movement, and adult dance and fitness programs. She is deeply passionate about the therapeutic, meditative, and communicative qualities of dance, and is excited to share her expertise through this program.

There is no prior dance experience required, and all ability levels are welcome. Whether you are in a wheelchair, fully ambulatory, or anywhere in between, this class offers something for everyone! We can't wait to share the physical and emotional benefits of expression through movement and dance with you!
