About this event

When auditioning, are your performances strong and compelling whether on video or in the casting session? Are you creating strong self-taped auditions? Are your self-taped auditions even being opened and viewed?

As the self-taped audition has become a more common method of auditioning, I have noticed that actors are often making technical and creative decisions that can hurt them in the casting process. In casting sessions, I see talented actors who, because of weak choices, nervous habits, lack of direction, etc., do not get the callback or role. This class will address those things that may prevent you from getting the role, the callback, and even the chance to have your audition seen.

This lecture is open to actors of all levels from novice to experienced professional.

Host: Casting Director, Alison McBryde
