I﻿n conjunction with the exhibition &quot;Unthinkable Imagination: A Creative Response to the Juvenile Justice Crisis&quot;, the Newcomb Art Museum hosts a free community gathering at the New Orleans African American Museum, featuring art making workshops, food, and family fun. Featured artists leading workshops are Sha&#x27;Condria &quot;iCon&quot; Sibley and Artist Journey Allen. Food by La Cocinita Food Truck and Froot Orleans.There is no cost to attend this event. P﻿lease note that street parking is available on a first come basis. This event is sponsored by the Newcomb Art Museum but takes place at the New Orleans African American Museum. Additional support by WWNO 89.9FM.Snacks and workshop participation are offered on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached, according to the schedule:2:30pm Fresh Fruit and Tacos2:45 - 4:45pm Face-painting and Balloon Animals3:00 - 3:45pm Creative Writing Workshop with Sha’Condria “iCon” Sibley4:00 - 4:45pm Collaborative Drawing Workshop and Live Painting by Artist Journey Allen with special guest High Heal Doula
