Action Item Fair brings New Yorkers together for a day of learning and action to channel our individual power into systemic change.
Take your activism offline and into daily life. Come together to meet experienced organizations and leaders who are propelling social, economic and environmental causes. Be part of a tangible movement of people who want to create a better future together.
Together we will:
Understand what activism means in daily life.
Identify actionable steps to take individually that add up collectively.
Meet other people who care about making the world better.
Learn from experienced change-makers, advocates and allies.
Partners and presenters include: NYCLU, Association of Young Americans, Justice League NYC, Democracy at Work, DoSomething.org, Alliance for Quality Education, Showing up for Racial Justice, Women's March on Washington, Workmen's Circle, New York Urban League Young Professionals, Resource Generation, and more.
