AOS End of Year Showcase

Students showcase their talent at Acting Out Studio’s End of the Year Showcase. Students perform for family, friends and industry professionals. This prestigious showcase is offered once a year at the end of our season May 15-18. There will still be 1 more final week of classes after the showcase.

All classes will end at the week of May 20 and Summer Unlimited will begin June 3 if you are registered.

Venue: The Dowd Theater is a beautiful 560 seat theater that has been newly restored and we are so excited to have our showcase here! The theater was once a historic movie theater and it is surrounded by shopping and great restaurants.

End of Season Shows

The AOS Showcase will be divided into 4 days of shows May 15-18. There are different show times each day. Students are only required to be present for their day and show time but are encouraged to come to any show they would like. Students must arrive by their call time, and be dropped off at the holding room entrance, which will be marked in the back of the theater. Students will be allowed to leave at the end of the show. Students will not be allowed to leave early as it is distracting for the other performers on stage. Parents can pick up students under 13yrs from the holding room at the back of the theater. All students are required to be at their show time. Students perform short scenes, monologues or commercials so it is important everyone is there. Times for each class is below. Please scroll down to find your time. Call time to arrive at the theater is 1hr before your showtime. Ex. If you perform at the 10:30am show then your call time will be 9:30am.

Tickets

Tickets are $12 and will be available online at www.eventbrite.com. Tickets are good for the entire showcase, so you can use your 1 ticket to attend any and all of our shows. Students do NOT need a ticket. Remember to print and bring your tickets with you. Tickets for AOS End of Year Showcase.

Auditorium Rules

Photos and videos are encouraged. No flash photography for the safety of the performers. Please do not save rows of seats. As a courtesy to all performers, please do not talk or leave during a performance. Please turn off all cellphones. No food or drink except water is allowed inside the theater or holding room/back stage. Refreshments will be available in the lobby.
