Yoga Peace Kulais a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) that believes the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga and mindfulness are available to all, regardless of financial circumstances, gender, age, backgrounds, challenges and talents.As a non-profit yoga studio, we raise funds and receive donations, that enable us to provide scholarships for student in need to take classes and trainings.One of our primary community outreach programs is mindfulness in the Schools. Our team of mindfulness educators has well over 50 combined years of experience in NJ public schools. They are NJ certified teachers & school counselors, as well as leading mindfulness educators that have developed mindfulness curriculum and lead Professional Development in schools and at national conferencesWe are proud to offer yoga and mindfulness classes led by the finest certified and exceptionally trained instructors in Monmouth County.

The practice of AcroYoga can be both therapeutic and playful.

<p>The practice of AcroYoga can be both therapeutic and playful. With these two sides of partner work, we work with another person (and sometimes three or four) to support each others body weight with counter balances and bone stacking, building strength, range of motion, trust, communication, and connection, while opening opportunity to create sequences to connect these paired poses in flight. Time will be dedicated first towards individual inversion drills which are essential in building skills and alignment for many parts of the partner practice. This will include headstands, forearm stands, and especially handstands. When exploring the more therapeutic side of the practice (otherwise referred to as flying therapeutics or &quot;Thai fly&quot;) and floor Thai massage sequences, we can also provide a greater physical release through the entire body that may not be achievable alone. This practice is not only for yogis, but anyone with a playful side interested in exploring physics, biomechanics, and/or human interaction. No experience, nor partner is needed! We encourage that if you come with a friend that you are open to working with everyone. This is a community building practice!</p>
