Acknowledging Commitment, Building Community Breakfast
Join us for a morning of community, connection, and collaboration at Riverstone’s Community Engagement Breakfast.
This special gathering will celebrate the partnerships that strengthen our work while acknowledging community members whose commitment has had a lasting impact on Riverstone and the older adults and family caregivers we serve.
This year’s theme, “Acknowledging Commitment, Building Community,” reflects both our legacy and our future. During the program, we will proudly acknowledge the commitment of individuals whose dedication has shaped Riverstone’s impact on building community, including:
· Maria Luna, community activist and Riverstone Board Member for 40 years
· Carmen Nunez, Memory Center Director for over 30 years, whose leadership has transformed care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia
· As well as participants whose lives have been touched by Riverstone’s services
This event brings together community partners, leaders, service providers, corporate supporters, volunteers, and advocates who share a commitment to supporting older adults and family caregivers in Washington Heights, Inwood, Harlem, and surrounding neighborhoods.
Guests will enjoy a light breakfast while learning more about Riverstone’s programs and discovering new opportunities to collaborate and deepen partnerships that benefit the community. The morning will offer space to network, exchange resources, and strengthen the relationships that help older adults remain healthy, active, and connected.
This event is free to attend, though registration is required.
We look forward to welcoming you for a meaningful morning of conversation, collaboration, and community.
