ACI-REF Virtual Residency Workshop 2017 Application

Please note that the ACI-REF Virtual Residency isn't part of the Clemson-led ACI-REF grant, although we do align closely with them.

ACI-REF Virtual Residency

***APPLICATION*** for the Advanced Cyberinfrastructure Research and Education Facilitator (ACI-REF) Virtual Residency workshop 2017. Your EventBrite "ticket" technically ***DOESN'T*** give you entry into the workshop, only entry into the pool of applicants. We will alert everyone about whether they've been selected for onsite participation or remote participation.
NOTES
(1) Historically, we've been able to accept EVERYONE who applies, specifically:
* one person per institution for onsite in-person participation, AND * all the rest from the same institution for remote videoconferencing participation.
For 2017, we expect to be able to take about 50 onsite and about 345 via videoconferencing, thanks to Oklahoma State U providing their 350-seat Zoom videoconferencing license. (We need a few licenses for onsite, to broadcast to the remote participants.) 
(2) Funding to support people's onsite participation may be much more limited than in the past.
(3) We will end the workshop the evening of Fri Aug 4 around dinnertime.

This year's (2017) workshop will be pretty similar to last year's.
