The North Carolina State Board of Education (SBE) and the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) are releasing a comprehensive strategic plan - Achieving Educational Excellence - aimed at making our public schools the best in the nation.

Together with NCDPI and the SBE, Superintendent Mo Green is hosting a launch event for all community stakeholders in all eight education regions across North Carolina. Join us in Burke County for the Northwest regional event. All parents, students, educators, school and district staff, public officials and other community members are invited to attend the free, public event. We welcome you to join this celebration of students and staff in North Carolina public schools as we continue to move toward Achieving Educational Excellence.

More information about the strategic plan is available here: go.ncdpi.gov/bestinnation.
