A tremendous networking opportunity for new and more seasoned members alike!

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford

This event is for all ACHE of North Texas members who want to become more involved and/or become more connected/networked with their fellow ACHENTX members.The ACHE North Texas Membership &amp; Networking Committee cordially invites you to the ACHE of North Texas chapter’s next Networking Blitz. This fun event will allow members to get to know one another in meaningful ways. There will be special fun breakout sessions and activities, where personal connections will be made. The intent of this program is to bring members together to get a real in depth view of ACHENTX, to enable you to meet some of the chapter’s leadership and other fellow ACHE members, and to help you map out how to best take advantage of the plethora of local and national benefits and opportunities available to you through ACHE. It&#x27;s a way to &quot;let us get to know you&quot; as well and become a part of your professional network.We will start with informal networking between 5:30-6pm, and at 6pm, we will dive into the more structured portion of the evening.O﻿ur guest speaker for the evening will be Jared Shelton, FACHE (see below bio); President of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford.We are looking forward to meeting each of you and/or getting to know you better.A light dinner will be offered.Jared Shelton, FACHE, serves as president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital HEB, joining the leadership team there in July 2022.He shares leadership responsibilities with Chief Quality and Medical Officer Scott David Lloyd, M.D., and Chief Nursing Officer Julie Balluck, M.S.N., R.N., NEA-BC.Shelton previously served six years as president of Texas Health Allen, and before that a term as vice president of Professional &amp; Support Services for Texas Health Dallas.He completed his undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and a minor in religion. He also earned a master’s degree in health care administration from Trinity University.Shelton is a past president for the North Texas chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served two terms on the Texas Hospital Association’s &quot;Council on Policy Development&quot;. He is a graduate of the Leadership Allen Fairview Class XXVIII as well as Allen ISD Leadership Academy Class II, and is also a member of the vestry at the Church of the Incarnation in Dallas.Outside of work, Shelton and his wife, Kathryn, enjoy parenthood with their young children — daughters, Mackenzie and Caroline, and son, Jack.
