ACECQA RECS Workshop - Rockhampton
Join us for the ACECQA RECS Workshop in Rockhampton
The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) is inviting leadership representatives from your service to join us at an upcoming free face to face workshop.
The workshops are part of the Reforming Early Childhood Safety (RECS) Program being delivered by ACECQA in partnership with the Queensland Department of Education. RECS is an education and support program focused on quality improvement and building capacity and capability in key areas of the national child safety reforms in Queensland’s early childhood education and care (ECEC) services.
The workshop offers an opportunity to connect and network with other ECEC services as we unpack the requirements and share how child safety changes are being implemented in practice. The focus of the workshop includes:
- Understanding the legislative requirements about the use of personal digital devices.
- Managing the use of digital devices in services, including related policy and procedure requirements.
- Resources available to support National Child Safety Reform changes.
- Reflecting on the use of images and videos of children in services, including in programming and planning.
Registrations close on Friday 8 May 2026.
Places are limited. To allow as many services as possible to attend, please nominate up to two leadership representatives to attend on behalf of your service/organisation. Further information will be provided to registered participants prior to the workshop.
For further information about the RECS Program, please visit ACECQA's RECS Program webpage or contact RECS@acecqa.gov.au.
