ACE Interface Community Training
Join us for the next Arlington County DHS Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Interface Community training
ACEs matter at every age because their impact doesn’t end with childhood.
ACEs stands for Adverse Childhood Experiences. These are events that occur before age 18 that affect a child’s sense of safety, stability, and bonding. Such experiences may make it harder for children to learn, grow, and form relationships. By understanding ACEs, we can all lessen the impact of adversity and create the conditions children need to thrive.
This training provides an overview of the ACEs study and outlines steps participants can take to build relationships, create supportive environments, and strengthen resilient communities.
