Accessible Egg Hunt
Adaptive egg hunts for children with mobility, vision, and sensory challenges-and their families. Only children need tickets.
A Calm & Inclusive Egg Hunt 🐣 Adaptive + Sensory-Friendly
Join us for a calm, welcoming celebration created specifically for children with mobility, vision, and sensory challenges—and the families who love them.
This event is designed to be inclusive, low-pressure, and joyful, with small groups, predictable routines, and a supportive environment where every child can participate at their own pace.

Choose From 3 Adaptive Egg Hunts
Each hunt is offered in 15-minute time slots throughout the day:
♿ Wheelchair-Accessible Egg Hunt
An indoor egg hunt with eggs hidden on easily reachable tabletops.
🔊 Beeper Egg Hunt (Vision Impaired-Friendly)
A hunt designed for children with visual impairments, featuring special eggs that emit a beeping sound. Blindfolds will be available for siblings who sign up for this egg hunt.
🧠 Sensory-Friendly Egg Hunt
A quieter, more regulated egg hunt with minimal stimulation.

✅ What to Expect (Designed for Comfort + Success)
- Small groups for each hunt
- No amplified music
- Identical eggs + identical prizes (to reduce stress and prevent “not fair!” moments)
- Predictable structure and gentle transitions

🕒 How the Egg Hunts Work
Each adaptive hunt includes only a few children at a time:
- 3 kids per beeper hunt
- 5 kids per wheelchair-accessible hunt
- 5-6 kids per sensory-friendly hunt
Kids will have 15 minutes to collect 5 empty eggs in their designated zone. Each hunt uses matching eggs (for example, all one color) to help reduce frustration and support emotional regulation. After the hunt, they’ll return their empty eggs and basket to a volunteer and receive a certificate, which they can redeem at the Prize Booth.
🎁 Prizes are goody bags with identical non-edible items in each bag.

🐰 Bonus Fun: Side Quests!
Before or after your hunt time, enjoy extra activities throughout the event, including:
- Photo booth with the Bunny
- Sensory play area
- Story time
- Face painting
