Purpose:

The pandemic and the unplanned shift to remote learning widened the opportunity gap for many students across the state. This program will support Eastern Idaho math educators with learning opportunities and classroom and school support as you work to help students catch up their math learning.

Who is this for?

All teachers & administrators interested in supporting math students

  • Teams (grade levels/departments/ schools) **Strongly encouraged
  • Individual teachers
  • Administrators

What will we learn?

Teachers will learn evidence-based practices to help students recover from the math learning loss due to the pandemic. The focus of this year will be centered around formative assessment and in-the-moment adjustments.

Administrators will discuss the system-level supports and pedagogy that will accelerate math achievement in their buildings.
