Academic Enrichment & Tutoring for Teens

CONSULTATION DAY

Register for an online consultation with Teen Texts & Tutoring. Our next online consultation day is on September 18th, 2023, and every third Monday of the month afterwards. If you cannot sign up for a consultation on Mondays, or prefer in-person onsite consultations, please select a day and time that works better for you on our Online Calendar.

On the day of your consultation, we will provide a space for student and parent to discuss (a) academic achievements and aspirations, (b) areas in need of extra enrichment or remediation, and (c) topics, skills, and concepts identified as major focus points.

During the consultation you will receive a) a basic recommendation, b) a mini blueprint or plan of action, c) methods to implement new learning, review, study, and practice at-home, in school, and tutoring, and c) a future appointment date for your child's first tutoring session online or onsite (if requested).

The best part about Teen Texts & Tutoring consultations is that you will receive recommendations and/or referrals regardless of whether you decide to sign up for tutoring (per day, per month, or per package). No commitment necessary; we are here to jump start you and your child into getting excited about planning for progress in our academic careers.

Alternatively,

If you are only in need of a second opinion or insights on your child's performance from a former ELA/Mathematics Teacher and professional in the field of education; it is okay to request only a review of your child's work/word and a recommendation or plan of action for parents to work with their child at home.

If you do decide to sign-up for tutoring, we have multiple locations where we can provide tutoring onsite. All locations have comfortable waiting areas for parents to have a cup of coffee or tea, read the newspaper or books, and/or catch up on some work, social media, or emails via a laptop or cell phone. (Most locations are in co-working facilities, which allow parents a chance to relax with coffee, or catch up on their own work too).

Students will be given activities and assignments to help practice basic skills and enhance their understanding of content knowledge. Our specialty is 2nd to 8th grade Literacy and Mathematics.

OTHER OFFERINGS

We also offer supplemental tools and texts to support your child in enhancing their self-accountability, motivation, curiosity, goal setting, and organizational skills. All five skills directly and indirectly assist in improving academic achievement.

FEE

Our fee is $95 for a consultation (with plan of action) and $55 for each additional tutoring session (and travel costs if we come to you). We offer highly competitive fees for your child's needs.

TO REVIEW

 You can register for a consultation onsite or online. We provide online consultations via Eventbrite on the third Monday of each month.

 We provide feedback, recommendations, and a go to plan of action at the consultation.

 There is no obligation to sign-up for tutoring. Yet, if you do commit to tutoring; we offer sessions onsite and online.

 Our tutoring comes with text and tool recommendations. The sessions are tailored to your child's needs.

 We offer easy to book sessions via Calendly or Square.

 Onsite sessions provide parents and guardians with comfortable space to wait; while also allowing them to comfortable space to complete their own work, calls, or errands.
