Cut ties with a capitalist concept of abundance and heal your relationship to your finances in a money magic workshop with the Money Witch!

Most of us in the Northern Hemisphere probably associate abundance with late Summer and early Fall. We equate abundance to the harvest, to receiving bounty. It can be easy to forget that the creation, growth and abundance cycle is much larger than just the moment of gathering and basking in a finished product. And that not only are all the other parts of the cycle -- such as preparing the soil, planting, pruning, the dying back of the plant after fruiting, and allowing the soil to rest -- essential to abundant harvest, they are therefore in and of themselves abundance.How has the way we conceptualize abundance been influenced by the ubiquitous systems of capitalism? How can we start to unlink these ideas and ground our definition of abundance in nature?In this workshop, Jessie Susannah Karnatz, aka The Money Witch, will speak about relating to abundance from the void. Whether the void is a season, a period of depression, Covid-related loss and uncertainty, grief, or another experience, being broken down can feel like the opposite of abundant. But what is fertile, joyous, and creative for us in this space? The void is nothingness but it is also infinite potential. Participants will explore this concept and how to apply it to their own financial healing through discussion, journaling, and tarot.
