What? At Absolute Mathness, we’ll create innovative, hands-on, and fun ways to engage teenagers with math: making it tactile, relevant, and exciting beyond the classroom.
Who? We’re inviting math teachers to share their insights: What are the trickiest math topics for teenagers? Your expertise will shape the future of math education!
Outcomes
Together, we will:
- Brainstorm creative ideas to make math tangible and fun.
- Build quick prototypes to test our concepts.
- Lay the foundation for a second, larger event later this year, where creatives from all fields will further develop these ideas.

Who Are We? Our team consists of Amina Zemouli (product designer), Allard Roeterink (science teacher), and Dick Janssen (programmer) and we are collaborating with Anna Shvarts (Freudenthal Institute, UU), an expert in Embodied Cognition and physical math learning.
