About Time For Connection<h2>About Time For Connection</h2>This free community event is about connection, healing, and unity – creating a safe space where survivors, people in active addiction, families, and anyone struggling with their mental health can feel welcomed, supported, and connected with real people behind local services. What’s happening on the day:🎤 Keynote Speaker – Run That Rehab🎤 Jacob Little – Chief Change Maker, About Time for Justice &amp; Rainbow Respite🎤 Jarvis Atkinson (aka Chainbreaker) – Proud Yorta Yorta man &amp; lived experience speaker🎤 Daniel McKay – Addiction &amp; Recovery Advocate🎤 Jaymie – “Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life”🍖 Free Community BBQ + food options🏀 Family Fun – sports, footy, boxing, kids’ activities, jumping castle locked in, face painting &amp; more📣 Service Providers – local organisations and rehabs connecting directly with community members🎶 Special Guests &amp; Entertainment – voices and music to inspire and encourage This event is especially for people trying to break the cycle of addiction, those returning from jail and seeking a new start, domestic violence survivors, survivors of institutional child SA, and anyone simply ready to change their life for the better. We’ve lined up keynote speakers for each of these journeys, along with service providers and rehabs offering real support and information on the day. Share this invitation with anybody and everybody in the community who may benefit.
