These are difficult times. More than ever, we are realizing the importance of being connected to the source of life and rooted and grounded in the love of God. Abiding in God&#x27;s presence connects us to the power, grace, and sustenance of the Spirit in our everyday lives. Sitting in the loving gaze of God heals our identities as we experience the rich intimacy and communion of the Trinity and come to know our&quot;Belovedness.&quot; The contemplative path offers ancient wisdom and fresh nourishment that can sustain us through the ever-changing seasons.Join us for a virtual contemplative retreat as we take time away from the exhaustion, busyness, and anxiety of doing and take time to focus on who we are becoming. We will pause, rest, slow down, and receive. We will spend time sitting in God&#x27;s presence, listening, and reflecting. We will ask ourselves the question: How do I live in order to become the person God has called me to be?We all dream of the person we want to be and the life we hope to lead. Unfortunately, we don’t just snap our fingers and magically become more loving, self-sacrificing, or Christlike. Rather we become what we practice. The soil of our lives must be cultivated in order to let God’s love transform our lives. Contemplative practices put us in the way of grace, heal our malformed ways of striving, and connect us to our deepest desires and dreams. Please plan to create a retreat-like experience by clearing your schedule, turning off technology, and creating a peaceful space. Each session will introduce a contemplative practice and then we will practice it together, taking time for reflection. They are deeply committed to serving the Northwest Vineyard Region as spiritual directors. They were all in the same cohort and completed Sustainable Faith&#x27;s School of Spiritual Direction in 2014. Since then, they have been practicing spiritual direction and love exploring the movement of God in the lives of others. REGISTRATION$28 per person.
